iPhrase Broadens Partner Program; Announces Support for Systems Integrators

One Step Platform Adds Value Through Expanded Revenue Opportunities and Customer Loyalty to the Online Channel

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., October 21, 2002 - iPhrase® Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of self-service search and navigation software for mission critical applications, today announced the addition of systems integrator support to its partner program. Systems integrators (SIs) can now generate new revenue by jointly marketing their business and consulting services with iPhrase's One Step™, the most accurate self-service search platform available. With iPhrase One Step, systems integrators can create additional value to each solution with an offering that drives loyalty to their customers' online channel, assists customer service representatives and enhances corporate intranets to improve employee efficiency and knowledge management in the enterprise. iPhrase SI partners can also use One Step to enhance the ROI of content management, CRM, portals and e-commerce solutions for existing and new clients. During the third quarter of 2002, iPhrase established SI partnerships with eForce, Organic, Digital@JWT, Blue Hammock and XTRON.

Mutual business success with our SI partners is greatly enhanced by defining simple but clear business plans that outline target markets, territories, goals, metrics, joint marketing and sales efforts, and resource requirements.

SI Partner Co-Marketing
As mutually agreed upon, iPhrase and our SI partner will issue joint press releases and include partners in trade shows, webinars, seminars, industry events and direct mail campaigns.

Brand Marketing
To take advantage of iPhrase branding, we encourage our SI partners to use our logo in literature, direct mail and on web sites. The iPhrase partner logo will identify your organization as a member of the iPhrase Partner Program and highlight you as a trained and authorized partner.

Web Site Links
As an integration partner, iPhrase posts a description of the partner and a link to the partner's web site on iPhrase's corporate website.

Not for Re-sale Software
iPhrase will provide free copies of the One Step software at no charge for demo development and training purposes.

Joint Sales
iPhrase direct sales team will work directly with SI partners in their region to develop and pursue sales leads generated by iPhrase or by the partner to assist in the pre and post-sales effort.

iPhrase Sales Education Forum
The iPhrase Education team can schedule product education sessions for your sales and consulting organizations. iPhrase encourages SI partners to take advantage of our education programs. We believe that the better equipped our joint sales organizations are the greater our mutual success will be.

iPhrase Technical Training
SI partners will have the option to take advantage of all iPhrase product training courses from basic to advanced. iPhrase offers technical training for SI partners that wish to offer integration or customization services.
